Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and dry yeast.
In a separate saucepan, heat the vegetable oil, milk, and water until warm (not hot).
Add the warm liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, and mix well until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead for 5-10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp towel, and let it rise in a warm, draft-free place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
Punch down the dough, and divide it into 16 equal pieces.
Roll each piece into a ball, and place it on a greased baking sheet.
Cover the buns with a damp towel, and let them rise in a warm, draft-free place for another 30-45 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake the buns in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they’re golden brown on top.
Remove the buns from the oven, and let them cool on a wire rack.
Serve these tasty buns warm with your favorite toppings, and enjoy!
