
Ingredients:
2.5 lbs. skin on chicken drumsticks (about 8 drumsticks)
Salt
Pepper
Cooking oil
1 cup BBQ Sauce
1 (20-oz.) can pineapple rings (1/2 cup of juices reserved)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season the chicken drumsticks with salt and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with cooking oil.
Add the chicken drumsticks to the skillet and cook for 6-8 minutes per side or until browned.
Remove the chicken drumsticks from the skillet and transfer to a baking dish.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the BBQ sauce and the reserved pineapple juice.
Pour the BBQ and pineapple juice mixture over the chicken drumsticks and spread it evenly.
Place the pineapple rings around the chicken drumsticks in the baking dish.
Bake the chicken drumsticks in the oven for 35-40 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
