
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Butter and flour a 9-inch (23 cm) round cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then the orange zest and vanilla extract.
- Stir in the flour mixture in three parts alternating with the yogurt, starting and ending with the flour mixture. Stir in the orange juice.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Serve the cake with your choice of toppings, such as whipped cream or fresh berries. Enjoy!
