
Instructions:
Heat the oil in a large skillet over high heat.
Add the sliced steak to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 2-3 minutes.
Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are soft, about 3-4 minutes.
Return the steak to the skillet and add the cornstarch, soy sauce, sugar, black pepper, and thyme.
Stir everything together until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
Serve the pepper steak over rice or noodles.
