
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the sugar and butter together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
Add in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix in the mashed bananas and buttermilk.
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
Fold in the chopped pecans.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 60-75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before removing it and transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
